New regulations that add proceedings under regulation 3 of the Exclusivity Terms in Zero Hours Contracts (Redress) Regulations 2015 to the list of 'relevant proceedings' in the Employment Tribunals Act 1996 for the purposes of early conciliation and other conciliation services provided by ACAS.

New statutory instrument makes provision in relation to 27A(3) of the Employment Rights Act 1996 which provides that a provision in a zero hours contract which prohibits the worker from doing work under any other arrangement is unenforceable.

Employment Tribunal appeals up by 70 per cent compared to same quarter last year

New Ministry of Justice figures for July to September 2015 also show that there were 5,200 Employment Tribunal issue fees requested and, of these, 3,500 (67 per cent) cases had the full issue fee paid outright whilst 1,200 (23 per cent) cases were awarded either a full or partial issue fee remission.
