A guide to registering with and logging into rightsnet ...
All rightsnet users need to register with us to obtain an individual login to access the subscription areas and / or the discussion forum.
Registering with us also gives you access to the extra features available in the my rightsnet area of the site.
In completing our registration form, you will be able to request access to our adviser discussion forums (we'll contact you when your request has been approved); take out a new subscription; or, if your organisation has already provided you with a subscription code, submit the code for instant access to our subscriber-only areas.
You or your organisation will need to take out a subscription if you would like to access the subscription areas of rightsnet. You can find out more from our subscription pages.
On subscribing, we will provide you / your organisation with a subscription code which you will then need to provide to those that you wish to use your subscription to access the subscription areas of rightsnet. They can use your subscription code to register with us individually using our registration form. They will then use their individual login to access the site.
Having completed our registration form you will be invited to enter your organisation's subscription code for access to the subscription areas.
If you do not know your organisation's subscriptions code, ask a colleague who is already logged-in to rightsnet to visit their my rightsnet page. They will then be able to see your organisation's subscription code under My subscription.
Having logged in, you can check which areas you have access to via my rightsnet.
You need to be working in advice to have access to the discussion forum, and be a registered user. If you are working in advice but have not registered with us, please complete our registration form.
NB - if you are working in advice and have already registered with us to use the subscription areas, but now want to upgrade your registration so that you can also use the discussion forum, please contact us. In doing so, please confirm your login; your job title; and your organisation's name.
You need to have an uptodate subscription to access the subscription areas, and have registered with us using our registration form.
Having logged in, you can check which areas you have access to via my rightsnet.
If you have previously accessed the subscription service, please check with your finance team that your subscription is uptodate.
However, if you have an uptodate subscription and still cannot access the subscription service, please contact us.
If you would like to take out a subscription, find out more from our subscription pages.
After logging in, you can change your password or email address via my rightsnet.
If you have forgotten your rightsnet login or password, you can ask to be emailed with confirmation of your login and for instructions on resetting your password by using these links:
rightsnet has a responsive design and will work across a wide range of devices.
rightsnet has also been designed to work with all newer versions of the main web browsers. If you're having a problem with how rightsnet displays, it may be because you're using an older browser.
Using the latest version of your preferred browser will also help to make other websites display (and function) properly and with internet security. Newer browsers also save you time, keep you safer, and let you do more online.
If you have another question that is not dealt with here, you may find the answer you are looking for in our subscriptions userguide; subscriptions terms and conditions; or our discussion forum acceptable use policy.
If not, please contact us .... our contact details, including contacts for our finance team and our training team, can be found on our contact us page.
