New SSCS1A to replace GL24 “About your representative”
What is this “Presenting Officer” you mention?
On the same page, it says a good representative should be able to liaise wth the DWP to see if the case can be settled without going to a tribunal hearing - and just how easy is it to do that?
This all seemed strangely familiar to me. It is a complete lift from the old Appeals Service’s “How to appeal” booklet - page 16, paragraph e:
Never really seen the need for a “summary” of the case. That should be what’s in the aappeal papers and your appeal letter. I’ll only do a written submission if it’s a complex case e.g. “hospital or similar institution”, co-hab. and so on.
I now find myself singing Talking Heads
“Presenting Office, qu’est que c’est?
Fa fa fa fa fa fa fa fa”

Nearly Mike, the actual lyrics fit as well-
“fa -fa -fa - fa - fa -fa - far better !!!!
“run run run, run run run awaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!”
Is it Friday?
Hurray - the weekend again!
Oh - no - it isn’t :-(
No Tony no - I have a letter from IDS which states ‘We will do this without delay….’ when referring to mandatory reconsideration.
