I am supporting a couple who are both pension age.  Mr is disabled but only in receipt of high rate mobility DLA, he has Daily Living needs now, would it be a case of asking for a DLA reassessment or would it need to be an AA application?
Many Thanks

If he was born before 08/04/1948 he can remain on DLA, otherwise it will be PIP - either way he can report the change to DLA. Bear in mind the different eligibility criteria if it’s PIP.

AA only comes into it they aren’t entitled to claim DLA or PIP.

It is possible to claim AA as well as DLA mobility don’t forget, However, the AA application can be treated as an application for supersession of the DLA award by DWP.
