DWP confirms that PIP and DLA claimants who fail to return review forms will not lose their award without a health assessment…...
Please correct my obvious misreading of this as I cannot see in the Department Operational Instructions where it deals with non return of AR1’s (claimant already on PIP and is to be reassessed)
You’re quite right, and spot on for highlighting - those two documents seem to deal specifically with the DLA to PIP reassessment process so, although they cover vulnerability markers and the extra steps that should be taken to safeguard claimants before terminating claims, they don’t explicitly cover the approach to non-return of review forms.
We’ve amended the story now to make that clear.
