Hi, this for all north of the border, has anyone come across people being moved from PIP to ADP? I know this is the plan but we have had a client who has been moved over and he told he has to contact ESA to ensure he continues to get SDP. etc. We are unsure how good the communication will be between Scottish Social Security and DWP. Dundee was one of the Pilot areas so this may be happening here first.

Individuals must advise the other benefit providers (e.g. local authorities, Department for Work and Pensions, and HM Revenue and Customs) that they have moved from Disability Living Allowance or PIP to Adult Disability Payment to ensure passported benefits and premiums are retained as the data sharing isn’t in place to allow those agencies to know that an alternative benefit is in payment once they’ve been notified DLA or PIP have ended
