Phenylketonuria and case law
Appeal coming up for child with phenylketonuria - special diet required + dietary management. Case law website is down so I cannot access R(A) 1/87 and CSDLA/160/95 which seem o be the key cases.
(I am (also) thinking about supervision, emotional support., prompt to eat as well as direct dietary stuff ...).
1. Does anyone have a copy of either of these that they can share?
2. Anyone have recent experience, or wisdom to share?
There’s a copy of sorts of the second one here https://www.rightsnet.org.uk/pdfs/CSDLA_160_95.mht
There’s a copy of sorts…
Blimey, you’re not wrong 😂 ....
Here’s a better version: http://web.archive.org/web/20030805135109/http://www.osscsc.gov.uk/archive_decisions/st96/st60_96.htm
Have a look at CDLA/2188/2001:

See paragraph 9 especially.
Fab. Thanks you.
