I haven’t seen anything from gov.uk addressing this issue.
Does anyone know if they would be able to get this sorted by phone as they can’t attend appointments?
Anyone any experience of this?
Thanks

Do you have a contact at the local JCP?
I had this same issue with a client yesterday and contacted local JCP who said they would ring client and resolve this. I guess that means they need to re-do the ID verification using biographic processes.
Each of our local JCPs have staff working behind closed doors. They have a telephone number on the doors for vulnerable customers to be able to access JCP. Our JCP work coaches couldn’t have been more helpful when I have contacted them on the clients behalf.

Hope that helps.

I have a housebound client who has been sent two new PSNs, neither have worked. We have requested new ones, but nothing came, then another came and didn’t work. I escalated it re a formal complaint - a new one came, didn’t work. I’ve now complained again…..1.5 months and waiting.
