Well, that felt like a very inspired day today at the London Advice Conference (#lac11 if you twitter at all), very good turnout, some fantastic speakers and workshops, lots of ideas and enthusiasm in terms of ways forward, and we even did some social media recording of what went on (thanks to Sound Delivery for your help with this).

Click the link below for a link so you can listen to some of our excellent participants from today, on the impacts on the independent advice sector in terms of issues around government policy making, welfare reform, legal aid and housing benefit changes in London.

Tony Travers, Director of LSE London, presents his vision of how the Advice sector will “Look to the Future”

Karen Buck, MP Westminster North and Shadow Work and Pensions Minister

Steve Hynes, Director of the Legal Action Group, the impact of government proposals on legal aid

Rachel Orr, Campaigns Manager for Shelter, discusses the impacts of Housing and Housing Benefit reforms on London

We will be sharing some views from many other delegates very shortly, so please have a listen to these as well. Enjoy!!!

Thanks very much to everyone involved today, I hope we get to do this again next year.
