New digital ‘Send your fit note’ for your ESA claim
During the assessment for Employment Support Allowance (ESA) the claimants are required to send fit notes (sometimes called ‘sick notes’ or ‘doctor’s notes’) by attending the job center. We have now introduced uploading the fit note via a tablet/phone or computer saving them time and the cost of travelling to the job center. Please see link https://www.gov.uk/send-fit-note
I used it on Monday and payment was released to client immediately. (it was an overdue cert)
Thanks for the response!

Been using this for a couple of months (maybe about 10-12 times) and it’s worked well every time - with no exceptions.
Unlike Wolverhampton - all have safely arrived and clients paid as expected
