Is it possible to work out from the HMRC letter about your NI record whether the £‘s worth amount of class 1 NIC’s equals 26 weeks or not? It is £341.16 for tax year 2014/15
cheers
NI details are all online now if this helps, https://www.gov.uk/log-in-register-hmrc-online-services
Cheers, but am in the awkward position of one second tier advice line trying to advise a first tier advice line, so no direct contact with client so was hoping someone would come up with a magical answer of how many £‘s class 1 NIC’s paid means client worked for x weeks!
The heat must be getting to me!
I think that if you knew what the weekly/monthly gross wage was (and it was consistent over the period) you could probably work it out.
£341.16 divided by 12% of the wage above £153 p/w = how many weeks (unless my maths is off, always possible)
But if the wage was irregular or unknown I don’t think that you could do it.
