Am I going mad or has nothing else of note been said about this?

If I remember right this was meant to happen as uc was going for world dominating of working age claimants but I’ve seen no updates.

Did I imagine all this or miss the latest?

Obviously the powers are there in WRA 2012 but PC housing element still looks a long way off.

The most recent clue I saw was in the editiorial to HB Direct 171 from October 2016

(see https://www.gov.uk/government/uploads/system/uploads/attachment_data/file/557534/hb-direct-oct-171.pdf )

“We know that Universal Credit won’t be fully rolled out until 20/22/23 and that we won’t be looking to bring housing costs into DWP benefit for pensioners in this Parliament ; so effective HB delivery is going to be critical to millions of people’s lives for quite some time to come”
