Morning.

Just a heads up.

After one dropped call and 20min wait second time around I was chasing as to why a letter had been sent to a client ‘PIP claim cannot be continued as further information requested as not been received’ (or words to that effect).

The PIP2 had been received on the last date of deadline but not registered. The person on the phone said it was a known problem and that some forms received on or around the deadline are not being registered.

They have an internal email to generate an MR of the decision to not continue the claim which is ‘quickly’ overturned and the claim continues.

Helpful as ever.

Thanks for that! That seems to make sense for what seems like an identical situation I have for a client too.

I have raised a complaint because PIP Helpline state PIP2 received and they cannot work out what the letter is about. I’ll drop this in to the follow up conversation.
