More phone woes
Is it just me or are PIP increasingly difficult to get hold of? I’ve not managed to get through all week; it’s either rung disconnected or given me the “all of our advisers are busy, please call back later” message.
They are taking much longer than 3 or 4 months ago, I can now play Vivaldi without sheet music.

maybe they’ve all moved on to better jobs having been sanctioned on their tax credits for not trying to get the same?
Not just me then, I’m getting cut off as soon they’ve finished trying to preempt my inquiry with recorded messages…..all day, given up now

For annoying everyone else in the office when subjected to Vivaldi overdose:
Sing loudly (in the chorus-ish bit) -
“...Department for work and Pensions,
Has nothing but good intentions,
Your sanctions,
Will help you get back to work….”
You must be really popular in your office Sara.
Thanks for making me giggle though 😊

I’m the only WRO in here, they deserve to feel my pain!
I think it should become a WRO anthem. We need an anthem.
We need something!
I welcome contributions for the verses….it is Friday after all

Instead of ‘Four Seasons’ we could call it ‘Twelve assessment periods?’
See what happens when I can’t get through on the phones…..
It’s not just PIP phones. I have just been put on hold and cut off numerous times today whilst trying to get through to ESA. I had to jump the queue and use the escalation numbers as the client was particularly vulnerable

me too; 4th attempt to speak to IS under way as I type. I’d listen to last night’s Archers in the other ear but I’ve got those lyrics distracting me now.
NAWRA’s Chorus might have it’s first opus in the making here!
Edit; someone on ESA told me they were having problems with their call handling systems earlier; they then transferred me to IS who I was meaning to speak to and I experienced those problems first hand…
[ Edited: 9 Sep 2016 at 03:45 pm by Dan_Manville ]To avoid DLA suspension,
I’m phoning for a Pip extension
And did I mention
I’ve been waiting in this queue for hours
I now have an earworm of:
For hours for hours four? hours
bouncing in my head like in Bohemian Rhapsody, complete with guitar.
I’m going free form.
If you want to speak to
A human that could help you
Just listen to Vivaldi
Whilst you’re transferred to Kirkcaldy
What we say we’‘ll do
Is just a lie to frustrate you
...
I’m working on this next bit…
(To the theme of Camptown Races..)
My three hour call-back hasn’t come, doodah, doodah
My three hour call-back hasn’t come. doodah, doodah day
Been on hold all night
Been on hold all day
Long since lost the will to live
And thrown the phone away
