Hi, does anyone know what the permitted work higher earnings limit has increased to? I thought it went up on 01/10 but an internet search is still only bringing up the £104 per week which I assume is now out of date?

Thanks!

It’s £107.50 ( 16 x £6.70 rounded up to to the next 50p - reg 45(4) ESA Regs 2008.)

there’ some HB guidance on the new rate @ http://www.rightsnet.org.uk/welfare-rights/news/item/upper-permitted-work-disregard-for-incapacity-benefits-to-rise-to-107.50-fr

(ps - it’s now uprated automatically rather than requiring new regs .... this from guidance back in 2011: ” In previous years the change has been included in a set of regulations which amend the relevant incapacity benefit, severe disablement allowance and employment and support allowance regulations. This year and for future years the change will happen automatically. This is because the incapacity benefit and employment and support allowance regulations have already been amended so that they contain a formula for calculating the upper earnings limit rather than the amount of the upper earnings limit.’)
