PIP Mobility-A gem for Friday afternoon
From a recent PIP assessment report…....
“(client) was observed to walk 20m to the assessment room, slowly, with an abnormal goat”.
Would that be an assistance goat?

Definitely a reason to refuse PIPS, anyone who can take an abnormal goat around with him clearly has no need for help with personal care or mobility!
I wondered if it was a subconscious longing for the nanny state!
Groan….That’s truly appalling Benny, and I ‘kid’ you not….
Oh stop bleating 1964, it’s not that baaaaaad
That’s really got my Goat Billy…
Having recently learnt about the agonising debate in South England about whether assistance monkeys should be allowed on public transport on the same basis as assistance dogs then as assistance goat would not surprise me at all.
Well, you’d certainly be walking slowly if you had an abnormal goat to assist wouldn’t you? What I want to know is was the goat awarded PIP?
I’ve long suspected that the assessment reports are just made up on the hoof.
This needs to stop doesn’t it 😊
I’m off to watch Britains Goat Talent!
Both from the same medical report;
‘Says she can peal a potato’
‘Has problems with long cues but is able to go shopping with sister and friend’
The only conclusion I can reach from this is that the claimant is an obsessive snooker fan with an unusual interest in musical vegetables.
That’s priceless! I’ve just spat coffee all over my laptop. Again.
Just wanted to add that local Oxfam shop ihas a stock of ‘Archie the Chocolate Goat’ for sale. Shall we buy one for the HCP for Christmas?
Oxfam apparently have an actual goat, and I quote, “Our loveable goat Archie loves chocolate. He loves it so much that he commissioned a model of himself in chocolate. Adult supervision with children recommended.”. I wonder if it limps?
