Our friends over at Advicenow have put together a ‘How to avoid or deal with benefit sanctions’ e-learning module ..

Worried about benefit sanctions? Want to know how to avoid them? Or what to do if you get one? This e-learning module aims to help you avoid you being unnecessarily sanctioned and, if it does happen, to help you work out what you can do about it. Try it and find out how to protect yourself.

The course takes most people about 30 minutes, depending on how familiar you are with the ideas and how quickly you like to work.

We have designed the module for:

- community workers and others to use with groups to help build their knowledge, confidence, and skills to deal with benefit sanctions.

- people to use by themselves to improve their ability to deal effectively with benefit sanctions.
