Trickling out the changes
The section of the Act phasing out of AIPs from 2016 has now been brought into force.
So also have the provisions for excluding mixed-age couples from SPC.
Just for an abundance of clarity - that’s the exclusion of mixed age couples from Savings Credit, not the much anticipated exclusion of mixed-age couples from State Pension Credit altogether.
