Thought I’d share what is probably the best GP’s letter I have ever asked for ...

To whom it may concern,

I understand this man underwent a test for his PIP.  The person assessed him and a letter from the HCP came stating that he can walk 60 to 70 m and declining his PIP.  This appears to be an outright lie.

This man is effectively wheelchair bound (electric).  He can get to his feet and make a few steps with the aid of another person and with his wheelchair close by to fall back into.

I would advise that the person doing the test is dismissed from his job as incompetent.

Might not get him an award but what a letter!!

LOL!! That’s one to frame. Bet the Tribunal will have a chuckle if it goes that far.
