R(M)1/85

Dear all

Volume 1 [3.124] of Sweet & Maxwell refers to ex parte, Shah (1983) 2 WLR 16 having been followed by a commissioner’s decision [R(M)1/85] on the issue that a person who is here without leave to remain (“unlawfully” or in “breach of immigration laws”) cannot meet the test of “ordinary residence”. I cannot find the transcript of this decision anywhere.- I would appreciate any pointers.-
