PIP Problems : contact details
This may be on RN but i cant find it unfortunately
Does anybody have any PIP contact details apart from the standard numbers
A client of mine didnt get her PIP paid in September
She has rang them 3 times and been told “Dont know why : nothing in your notes, we will look into this and call you back”
No return calls made
I called them Tuesday to be told they hadnt a clue why payment had stopped, but they would escalate the query, mark it as urgent and call client within 48 hours.
Very distressed client told me todays payment not gone in either. She is now owed £800.
No phone call either from PIP.
Called PIP : told same again, but was basically admonished for telling client that she will get a return call within 48 hours as it “normally” takes 5 days.
Er, thats what PIP told me : I even joked to them that 48 hours could hardly be treat as “urgent”??
Client rang DWP 25th september. They have had their damned five days. (vent vent vent)
No hospital stays to suspend payment, no “fraud” issues, but my biggest bugbear is that nobody at DWP can explain why no payments being made and nobody seems to be doing anything.
I need to take this further but DWP refused to give me any contact details higher up, and apparently im not “allowed” to contact processing to chase up further. (vent vent, again)
So : can anyone give me any email addresses/contact details to escalate this issue as im getting nowhere with the Pip “help"line (sic)
If you could provide an e-mail address, I will send over a suggestion (would prefer not to post on public forum)
Thanks
