Leading on from the recent discussion, it looks like it is indeed national policy for the PIP office to request the SOR following a successful appeal. They’ve just done it with our first appeal outcome and the letter is clearly a standard one.

Client has been waiting for well over a year now (appeal outcome was SR of DLC and ER of MC) and now faces the prospect of a further lengthy delay before anything is paid to her. It’s not doing anything for her physical or mental health.

Edited to say that I just asked someone on the PIP advisorline if this is indeed policy and having checked with someone else she confirmed that it is. So be warned…

No. Slip of the pen. I meant the PIP general info line. Am still in DLA mode.
