Is IDS set to leave the DWP in Monday’s reshuffle?
Is IDS set to resign his post in next Monday’s reshuffle? Westminster has been abuzz with speculation all day http://www.newstatesman.com/politics/2014/07/how-duncan-smiths-departure-would-help-osborne …
There is even some talk of IDS doing a job swap with the defence secretary Philip Hammond http://m.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-28261957 …

What would be the effect?
A minister who announced immediate changes or a review, or one who ‘carried on the good work so ably begun’?
McVey as replacement….....y’know, that could possibly be even worse (not quoting Belloc)
Or…
‘Smith or McVey? By my troth:
Twere better sure to sack them both’
(this time, apologies to Belloc)
