Assessed Income Periods

Are AIPs still awarded? Are they open ended for anyone over a certain age? I have read somewhere that they were going to be abolished but that may have been just a proposal. Thanks

They will stop being awarded but will continue for recipients until theri end date or indefinitely for those with indefinite awards.  (Now in Melbourne at the Husita / SWSD conference for those tracking me)
