Does anyone know when the proposed extension to 7 waiting days for JSA and ESA claims is due to come before Parliament?

Thanks Billy.
What I meant though, is whether the decision to implement the changes has already been made by Parliament or if we still have time to try & influence the outcome. We have a press release ready to go out and may contact MPs if there is still time.

Sorry, should have read your question properly.
From what I can make out the amendment regulations SI is still draft and has not yet come before Parliament. The SSAC consultation closed on 13 June and gov.uk says SSAC is analysing the feedback - https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/the-social-security-waiting-days-amendment-regulations-2014
Depending on what SSAC says the SI will then be amended or not

Billy,
Many thanks. It looks like the horse has not yet bolted and having the title of the amending reg will hopefully enable me to confirm the situation from Parliament’s website.
