How long is contribution based ESA payable for if the calimant was previously on Contribution based JSA

Please forgive me if this is obvious, I seem to be suffering from brain fade!

I have a client who is just about to reach the end of the Contribution based JSA period . It sounds like they might in fact be eligible for Cont based ESA (and probably should have claimed ESA anyway).

If they get Cont based ESA does the 365 day entitlement period run from when the JSA is stopped by the ESA claim or is it 365 days less any days spent on cont based JSA?
