required period condition

I recently had my first client with a PIP ‘how your disability affects you’ form.  I did not notice any question about onset of problems like there used to be on the DLA forms.  Did I miss this, or is this being dealt with in the initial phone call or at the ATOS medical?

It asks about how long each health problem or disability has lasted for at page 6 although it does ask in a rather broad way. Doesn’t really account for deterioration in condition unless it’s volunteered I guess.

Oops, yes it is there…  I just understood this as asking for how long a condition was present.  But luckily the date of the onset of the condition is normally prior to the date of the care or mobility needs. I suppose the issue whether or not the needs are likely to last for more than 9 months will be dealt with by ATOS?
