bedroom tax JR fails
In his judgment Laws LJ, in dismissing the challenge to the legality of the bedroom tax, said that the ‘strategic aims of the policy’ should not be underestimated; and these were identified as being ‘not only a desire to save public funds, but also to shift the place of social security support in society’.
