Just returning to work after long absence. client awarded higher are and mob via DS1500, one letter stated 1 year the other 3 years, the year is up in September and I won’t be in the office for another couple of weeks..
Is there any case law relating to award via DS1500..?

Should I contact GP for further DS1500?

only managing couple of hours per day at the moment.

Steph, the normal award for a claim under special rules is for 3 years. Normally a renewal claim is sent to the clt 6 months before the award is due to cease and then you can make a further claim using a new DS1500 if the clt’s doctor/nurse specialist thinks that they qualify under the special rules.
I have never had a clt get a years award under DS1500.

Edit - DMG Volume 10 Paragraph 61503 advises 3 year awards and a similar paragraph is in the ADM for PIP in P2079
