Support group mobilising descriptor
Client’s main condition is severe & chronic depression. This results in significant but somatic physical problems including substantially restricted mobility due to pain & cramping in limbs and very poor balance (client can walk only 10-20 meters with physical support). GP has backed this up. Client placed in WRAG and has appealed.
On the face of it, client meets schedule 3 activity 1 (mobilising) but my query is, does this only count if her restricted mobility can be shown to arise from a ‘specific bodily disablement’ rather than related to her mental health? I can’t find anything equivalent to ESA Reg 19(5) re the schedule 2 discriptors.
Reg 34 3A (SI 3096)
Cool- thanks. Looks like client is OK with moblising descriptors.
