From the BBC website report:

Contribution-based unemployment benefits such as jobseekers allowance (JSA), will be reviewed

Priority will be given to those who have worked and paid tax for longer while eligibility for the top-up contributory JSA may be extended from two to five years in work

Ed please advise:

what other contributory unemployment benefit other than JSA is there?

what is top-up contributory JSA? two years?

From this fine beginning we can only anticipate another CSA, Tax Credits, WCA, UC etc. etc. etc.

Lets hope this shower will continue to fund us all to sort out the forthcoming mess they will create!

I was phone-polled about this ‘policy’ last night. I had no idea what they were gibbering about. Good grief.
