The tax payers alliance
Robert Oxley from the Tax Payers Alliance was on BBC radio Five Live yet again today in a discussion about PIP. As usual he was completely misrepresenting the issue and talking about ‘making work pay’, ESA rules and repeating DWP press releases word for word.
Why do the BBC repeatedly use ill informed spokespersons from this organisation who simply repeat the coalition line.. I think we should be told!
Not to mention that the low paid or benefit recipients pay MORE in tax as a percentage of their income than anyone else. 20% Vat for starters, plus duty etc
