Hi,

Can anyone point me in the direction of the minimum overpayment recovery rate for 2013/14?

I’ve searched the usual uprating circular but could only find the standard and fraud rates of recovery.

Thanks

Allan

£10.80 and £18.00

The uprating circular has just been reissued because of errors and omissions in the first version.  Maybe this was one of them?

The revised version has the war pension rates added as well.

Morning Allan,

If you’re thinking of what the council think of as ‘the minimum’ it’s usually the rate at which Council Tax arrears can be recovered at which (I think) is currently £3.65 per week.  It’s been going up at around 5p per year for the last few years - don’t know if it’ll rise this year due to the limited benefit increase but maybe £3.70 if it does.

As far as I know it’s not laid down as a minimum for HB o/p recovery anywhere as that could potentially be lower.

Sorry…completely misread the question!  I wasn’t aware there was a minimum.
