Premiums

I have a client who was a carer and her partner died, she received the 8 week run on and also the carer premium for this time.

I applied for AA and client was awarded this.
SDP due rater than carer premium but HB refuse to pay until 8 week run on ends, this results in tenant missing out on full HB..
Team laader refuses to budge on decision..

my understanding is that the higher of the premiums should be awarded at least but can’t find it in CPAG book..

she only wishes to receive full HB/CTB and is not wishing to claim savings credit.

I will send another email to HB and let you know how I get on..
