I’m looking for R v Sollihull MBC ex parte Simpson (1995?) and also R (mcKay) v Barking and Dagenham - (not sure about this at all).

It’s for help with challenging an alleged non-commercial/contrived tenancy

If anyone can help I’d be very grateful

Cheers
Sue

Hi

I’ve looked before and have never been able to find the Solihull case. Shelters HB/CTB handbook has a very good index that gives the bailii links to the decisions that are available online, but it gives no link for this case. That handbook gives the reference 03/12/93 QBD 26 HLR 370 for the Solihull case if that helps!

Unfortunately I don’t.  And its not cited in the CPAG Housing Benefit legislation either.  What are its facts?

Thanks Paul, I could’ve imagined it!  I’ll get back to you when I can. It’s a bit manic here as I’m trying to get everything in order before my notice period expires :)

Tried to google it.  mentioned plenty of times but couldn’t find a word doc to copy.  the link below takes you to lexiweb but it looks like its a subscription site.  Do you have access?

Cheers P.E.T.E.

That was the only one I could find but I don’t think we subscribe to that site.
