SDP transitional element and erosion

Hi

Claimant was getting SDP with ESA.
Moved and needed to claim UC. SDP TE applied to first payment.
There was a delay with housing costs (but declared with new claim) and element applied retrospectively from first payment.
TE has been removed from second, I suspect, because housing element now awarded.
I don’t think this can be right.
Any thoughts?

You’re correct. There is no ‘relevant increase’ which could cause erosion because the HCE has been put in place from the first AP.
