Childcare vouchers in migration

Hi All

Any thoughts welcomed.

I understand that Childcare Vouchers are not counted as earnings because they work through salary sacrifice and I presume the associated childcare costs then wouldn’t be reported through the UC because they’re ‘covered’ by the voucher scheme?

Hi, no I didn’t but our conclusion was that it basically just operates as a salary sacrifice, with no claim for UC childcare. The client in question migrated to UC with no issue.
