SRP and PC - Stockport (northwest area)

Hi Anyone got an idea of length of time these claims are taking to be processed? Manchester area.

Got no idea of which area is concerned with this but we have had a couple of recent enquiries about long delays to people having State Pension claims processed. As we offer second-tier advice, this may be a wider problem perhaps?

My partner applied for his State Pension online recently.  He got a letter confirming it about a week later.
Don’t know about Pension Credit, but I don’t think the processing offices are so localised that Stockport claims would be any different to another area, say for example Salford.

I’ve done a PC recently and was advised that processing is 6 weeks. PC also won’t answer an enquiry until 4 weeks after making the claim
