Anyone got - or know of - an up to date leaflet on this? I’d like to avoid inventing another wheel!

Thanks

Clive

I’m not aware of a leaflet on this, I’m afraid.

The second document suggests that volunteering is totally fine for everyone. Currently, my understanding is that although volunteering doesn’t come under exempt work for ESA, it can be used as evdience of capability for work and therefore lead to a termination of benefit for that reason. I may be out of date, it’s been a while since I came across someone who volunteers while on ESA.

It would be interesting to find out whether volunteering is explicitly excluded as evidence of capability for work.
