Hello, I have a client who has Trigeminal Neuralgia which is a very debilitating condition, which causes her severe headaches and pains in her neck.  Although she does not fit into any of the descriptors, she is affected by hot and cold air and completely unpredictable loud noises. She has suffered with involuntary episodes of lost or altered consciousness, but not twice in six months before the assessment.  Can anybody help me with any pointers for the appeal. Thanks DRN.

I would agree that Reg 29 (2) (b) is your best bet. I had a lady who was an alcoholic, drinking a ltr of vodka a day.
Despite this she received 0 points at medical!

Client won the appeal on the basis of Reg 29 (2) (b) and was placed in the support group whilst she undergoes detox etc.
