I have a client who is paid RP by girocheque on a yearly basis. She has had a letter from TPS saying girocheques are being abolished this April & if she does not provide details of a bank or building soc account her payments will be stopped. Has anyone seen any legislation allowing this or are DWP just trying it on again?
