Does anyone know anything about https://advicehub.uk/ ?  I cam across the link but can’t find out much about them.  They claim to be a charity but do not display a registration number.  According to gov.uk there was a PLC of that name based in Hitchin but it was dissolved in November 2021.  It seems to be part of The Hope Initiative UK.  Any info or reports would be appreciated.

Note that following the link that Malawarbytes flags it as

Compromised

Compromised sites (or servers) are otherwise legitimate sites that are being used by hackers without the owner’s knowledge. Compromised sites are often used to house and spread malware.

Not a good sign.

Could this be something related to the AdvicePro case management system? When we send emails or documents to clients via this system, the email shows as coming from ‘AdviceHub’ but the actual message states which agency sent it. The client then needs to enter their surname and DOB to access the full message / document.

Out of curiosity I had a look and ended up on this page https://advicehub.uk/housing-benefit/

That page contains the following:
Housing Benefit
You might be able to get Housing Benefit to help pay your rent if you’re on a low income or you claim benefits. Housing Benefit is paid by your local council.

If you own your home, check if you can get help to pay your mortgage interest instead. Most people can’t make a new claim for Housing Benefit.

You can only make a new claim for Housing Benefit if one of the following applies:

you, and your partner if you’ve got one, have reached State Pension age – check your state pension age on GOV.UK
you or your partner have been getting Pension Credit since before 15 May 2019
you live in temporary accommodation
your landlord’s a county council, charity or housing association and they give you care or support – for example if you live in sheltered housing
If you can’t make a new claim for Housing Benefit, you might be able to apply for Universal Credit instead – check if you can claim Universal Credit.

When I clicked on the “check if you can claim UC” link it took me to a Citizens Advice webpage…
