Child’s DLA payments have been suspended as his mum’s LLR expired in July.  They didn’t write to her but when we phoned that was the reason given. Mum has 3C leave as an in time application went in before her LLR ended and she’s still waiting for her decision.  We will of course provide evidence that she still has recourse but I am scratching my head about why this matters.  The child is the claimant and he is British, mum is just the appointee.  What have i missed? Thank you

Our government’s innate racism perhaps?

It’s pre action letter time.

Might be worth a word with South West London Law Centre and see if they can take it on. They’ve got the relevant Legal Aid contract
