Very quick AA decisions

Are decision makers seriously making decisions on AA (or DLA) purely in under 72 hours and think that they won’t then be subject to challenge?

I’ve just had a (seemingly strong) renewal application refused purely based on the content of the application form stating that my client has no personal care needs whatsoever.  They received the application on 30 April and decision made 2 May!

Are others seeing this happening?

I saw an AA decision last year dated the same day they received the claim form.  There was nothing in the form to suggest that the application was wholly misplaced so a staggering example of adjudicative ineptitude and indifference.
