Further to our work on rightsnet and our other websites, and in response to feedback from advisers, we've developed a series of web tools, all designed to support access to justice in relation to social welfare law issues.
Advicelocal is our social welfare law service designed to help people find out more about their rights and entitlements; to feel more confident about getting help with the questions they have; and to find local sources of advice and support.
Advicelocal covers seven areas of social welfare law - welfare benefits and tax credits; council tax, including exemptions and discounts; debt and money advice; housing and homelessness; employment and work issues; disability and social care; and asylum and immigration - and includes a free UK-wide advice directory.

Pipinfo is our adviser guide to personal independence payment regulations and case law.
You can search by activity, issue or health condition to find out more about the legal framework and how the Upper Tribunal and the higher courts have interpreted the law.
We hope that pipinfo will help advisers in assisting people to make a new claim for personal independence payment, and in challenging decisions to refuse, or award a lower rate of, the benefit.

We hope that wcainfo will help advisers in assisting people to make a new claim for benefit on the basis of their incapacity for work, and in challenging decisions to refuse, or award a lower rate of, benefit.

Launched in October 2020 with a small number of exemplar projects from the UK, Australia and the USA, we'll be adding more over the next days and weeks, so do keep checking back.
