DLA to PIP - gap between end of DLA and start of PIP ?

Hi all,

Have just received a decision notice for a client going from DLA to PIP where it states DLA is due to end on a particular date but then states PIP does not begin for another 9 days.

Decision notice does not refer to any reason why a later date would apply and I cannot think of one. I assume it is a clerical error and have chased on the helpline - helpful operator suggested the same and has referred to a DM to review.

The gap between awards has already been notified to local authority HB dept and has reduced entitlement however.

We will request MR if cannot be fixed quickly due to a clerical error + hope it is an isolated incident but just flagging as something to be aware of when assisting with this type of case.
