ESA 50 FORM SENT TO CLIENT WITH PIP FORM

one of our clients received an ESA50 form enclosed with his PIP pt 2 form, when we phoned DWP ESA unit they told us this was correct and client should complete ESA50 and return it to the assessment centre in envelope provided , what is going on here ??

They may be looking at doing a joint PIP/ESA assessment at the same time, IDS was banging on about it before he jumped ship to concentrate on being a little Englander. I have seen a couple of them done to my clients (put into ESA SG following a PIP assessment) but admittedly no ESA50 sent out with PIP2.

Or maybe they are just trying to save 53p on postage, got to get them abandoned PIP cuts paid for in efficiency savings somehow…
