charity payments ignored for HB/PC?

Hi folks,

Can anyone tell me if regular, weekly payments made by a charity on an on-going basis are not taken into account for HB/PC purposes?

Yes charitable payments are ignored for HB and PC - see page 323 of the CPAG handbook (assuming you are talking pension age for HB too?)

Yes, I had read that but I wanted to double-check that a weekly, on-going supplementary pension (paid by a charity) would not be taken into account for HB. They are pension age.

Would that be the same for an additional supplementary pension paid by our Pensions Dept? C of E are a charity…..
