Written answer in parliament yesterday shows dramatic fall in number of DEAs in jobcentres - http://www.parliament.uk/business/publications/written-questions-answers-statements/written-question/Commons/2015-10-14/11858 - probably not a surprise.

The DWP view is that job coaches are now trained in all areas and therefore are sufficiently equipped to meet the needs of people with long-term health problems/disabilities…

Using the well known DWP inversion of logic (probably the wrong phrase) and double speak approach to ‘improving’ services.
