Another day, another right to reside query…...

Trying to assist a claimant to show they have permanent right to reside.  We’ve established they’ve been in the UK more than 5 years and had registered work from May 2010 before working continuously for 5 years.  All good, but…..

Turns out that during the period of the job that was registered, the claimant had another job which wasn’t registered.  According to the rules, both employments needed to be registered even though one on it’s own would have been enough to now allow permanent right to reside.

Anyone any ideas as to whether this unregistered work will prove fatal to our case for permanent right to reside?

Thanks for any help.

We received good news on this case.  Despite the non-registration of the second job, the DWP have decided that our claimant has a permanent right to reside.
